Here's a neat little IQ puzzle I read the other day. See if you can figure it out. First person to post the correct answer + solution to this (you gotta say why your answer is correct) receives $0.50.
"... fifty cent a lot of money!"
So there's a bear.
He decides to amble around ... he goes:
- 1km south
- 1km west
- 1km north
What colour is this bear?

It's a koala.
He goes 1km south. He's still in Australia.
He goes 1km west. He's still in Australia.
He goes 1km north. Well I'll be.. he's still in Australia.
This theory, however, can be applied to any coloured bear.
Close but no cigar.
He ends up right back where he started (as opposed to the same continent).
It's a polar bear!!
It's standing on the north pole - where the meridians converge.
[... hmmm... I sound like a fobulous geek there, don't I?]
Anonymous is correct!
Just to make it clear for everyone else - if you go south, west and north from the North Pole, you still end up back to where you started (anywhere else you end up somewhere to the west of your starting point).
And theres only one type of bear that lives in the north pole. So it must be white.
Unfortunately, I dunno who anonymous could be so I guess they'll never receive their fobalicious prize.
